This piece was created in response to a prompt to draw a work exemplifying perspective, inspired by the concept of a library from the future. This work delves into themes of darkness and decay, portraying a dystopian, spore-overrun environment inspired by the overgrown future trope in media like The Last of Us. Using a mix of pencil, ink, and graphite, I meticulously crafted intricate organic growths against structured architectural elements, evoking a sense of inevitability and unease. Influenced by Junji Ito's comic and manga aesthetic, the work guides viewers to uncover hidden details, immersing them in a chilling vision of a possible future.
